Folplast Shrink Hoods
Our shrink hoods – produced according to pallet size – can be used both on automatic and manual packaging lines.
We produce shrink hoods mainly for unifying the packaging of products mounted on standard (EUR) or one-way pallets that have a major advantage – from the features of polyethylene – that they provide an almost even pressing force throughout the packet after shrinkage thus products prone to slipping apart can also be stored and handled in a secure way. In addition to the above, shrink hoods protect products from the harmful effects of the weather, such as moisture, snow, and rain. We produce shrink hoods in pieces and also in rolled form.
Shrink hoods sold by the piece: with our custom packaging machinery we cut the products to the sizes required by the customer. In this case the shrink hood is normally pulled onto the product manually.
Shrink hoods sold in rolls: the product is cut to size on the automatic packaging line.
Scope of application:
- Industrial and household equipment and appliances (refrigerator, freezer, cooker),
- building industry products (bricks, cement, tiles, sanitary ware etc.),
- and the unifying packaging of all other products on pallets/EUR pallets.
